I actually have one!

Well I'm working on a super-duper, top secret project at the moment, you can't know about it... Okay I'll tell you!

I'm crocheting a very, very large 8 bit theamed rug! It's going to be made of 590 individual, 6cm squares! So far I've managed to do 53 in 6 days, which isn't bad going I don't think! I'm crocheting everywhere! On the train and bus to and from work (that's 40 mins each way if there are no delays and not including walking and waiting) at the bus stop, at the train station, while watching TV, while sat in bed. Basically, if my hands are free then I'm crocheting! I'm currently working to get the black done and out of the way, I'm 1 ball of yarn down and I have about 4 more balls to go of the black and I should be able to move on the other colours (which I haven't even bought yet!).

So, what the point of this is, I'm still alive, however I won't be posting anything, unless it's a special thing or an update or something... I also have some other ideas for more, smaller, crochet and sewing projects, just incase I get bored of making identical 6cm squares... Which, let's face it, is highly likely! So you can expect at least something in the next month or two.

In Other News

I am going full time at work, that's 40 hours a week, and I've been given a pay rise as I am now on a salary not on per hour! Yay more money! Boo not as much free time... Oh well, more money = more crafting

Look guys a shiny, pretty Journey journal skin! Isn't it just the most awesomest thing you ever did see?

My lovely, wonderful, fanstastic, talented fiancé (aka code monkey) coded it for me, isn't he just the sweetest?!

Oh yeah, this wonderful guy who I love SO MUCH also bought me the Journey Collector's Edition, which comes with Journey, fl0w and Flower, the sound tracks and 3 mini games! He also bought me a Singer sewing machine... It has 25 settings! They're for my birthday, which isn't until 5th July, I'm allowed to have them now but I've been so busy doing other things I've not had a chance to give them a go yet but I have a few ideas for the sewing machine

I'm ill! It's just a cold but it sucks T_T Not been doing much in the way of drawing and stuff due to getting settled in the new house, which I love btw, and then getting ill, also my boss has decided to give me more hours YAY more money!

So I'm thinking about getting rid of requests and doing point commsions instead. Not sure how much to charge though. maybe 10 (+5 to animate) for an icon, 30 basic sketch, 50 basic sketch and colour, 60 lineart, 80 lined and coloured and 100 lined, coloured and shaded. Addition characters +10-30 background +10-60 depnding on how copmlicated. All images created with Photoshop and Illustrator (unless traditional is requested) and will be made with transparent backgrounds (except basic sketches which will be on a white background) unless otherwise requested.

I'd like to know what you think. This may seem quite high but keep in mind 1oo is only about 1$ so...
